Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s President, has denied the allegation that he smuggled in looted funds into the country. The president who is seeking re-election on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) stated this through his support group, Buhari Media Organisation. BMO was reacting to claims by Atiku Abubakar, the 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), that he prevented the president from smuggling in looted funds into the country. The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje, has criticised Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for the delay in the presentation of the 2019 budget. Agbaje, who said he was not surprised by the development, noted that Lagos residents were bearing the brunt of the “breakdown of democracy” in the ruling All Progressives Congress. Ejike Mbaka, the spiritual director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, has been blasted for endorsing President Muhammadu Buhari for a second term in office. The blast is coming from Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister who described the cleric as an agent of Satan.
