France also continued their dominance when Christine emerged the 11th director general of international monetary fund, becoming the 5th director general France has produced since the inception of IMF Madame Christine Lagarde, from France. Mr. Dominique Strauss-Kahn, from France. Mr. Rodrigo de Rato, from Spain. Mr. Horst Köhler, from Germany. Michel Camdessus, from France. Jacques de Larosière, from France. H. Johannes Witteveen, from the Netherlands. Pierre-Paul Schweitzer, from France. Per Jacobsson, from Sweden. Ivar Rooth, from Sweden. Camille Gutt, from Belgium.
